We scrap your vehicle easily, safely and most of all legally without the hassle of complicated form filling just a fast and friendly service.

SCRAP VEHICLE COLLECTION
Simply complete our online form and one of our collection team will contact you to discuss your vehicle.  Once you are happy and have agreed the collection a member of our collection team will book your collection time and date.

On our arrival we check the vehicle ID and logbook.  Once checked we will then load your vehicle onto one of our trucks making sure that we causing minimum disruption to you and neighbouring properties, all of our drivers are respectful of your property and will take the up most care of your property and neighbouring property when removing your scrap vehicle.

THE PAPERWORK
Once the vehicle is loaded we will then complete all of the necessary paper work that notifies the DVLA, our driver will complete section 9 of the V5C (also know as a logbook) with company details, the driver will then hand you your section 9 of the V5C  to send your part to the DVLA address on the back of slip (stamp is required).

Please be mindful that although we inform the DVLA that your vehicle has been scrapped it is still the registered keepers responsibility to send their section 9 of the V5C to the DVLA.

Once you have sent the section 9 of the V5C to the DVLA you should receive a conformation letter back from the DVLA notifying you that the vehicle has been scrapped, letters are normally received within 20 days. (if you do not receive the conformation letter from the DVLA please contact the DVLA by phone or letter to confirming you have scrapped the vehicle)

ATF / SCRAPYARD
On arrival to the ATF the vehicle identity is checked and the DVLA informed that the vehicle has been scrapped.

The End-of-Life Vehicles Directive (ELV) which passed into European law in October 2000 and came into effect on 3 November 2003 states that all vehicles are de-polluted.  All scrap vehicles by law must be taken to a ATF also know as an Authorised Treatment Facility for de-pollution.

Once we arrive at the ATF the vehicle will be unloaded and taken to a de-pollution bay.

The engine oil will be drained and put into special tanks the gear box oil & axle oils removed, air bags deployed and made safe, all harmful liquids are drained and any other hazardous waste removed.

Once the vehicle has been made safe for recycling the shell of the vehicle will be moved to the bailer where the shell will be crushed and the metal recycled.
